littleboss Posted October 19 Report Share Posted October 19 eh, i wouldnt plan on that working very well, 9 out of 10 know where the party is at, plus people arent gona pay the 5.00 or whatever it is just to have mobile web on their cell for this reason. paradeatw Posted October 20 Report Share Posted October 20 barrier to entry for your average cell phone user is too costly... and just as littleboss said, most if not all the time that you are out and about you are already on your way to the party... maybe if there were live updates about the events such as amount of peeps, who's djing right now and who's on deck, etc...web enabled portable devices are great for real-time info, not research... if im on my way to the club it may be cool to get an update sent to me through their system to alert me if the party sucks the only immediate market i see are international or national tourists who may not have time or not know where to look for the party info, but marketing to this audience may be costly... just my 2 cents Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
