£ddie
The only dress code is that you can't wear a suit (seriously). Other than that, anything goes as far as dress. Some people dress up, some dress down, and you get everything in between. The cover charge is £15. Friday nights are usually breaks and drum n bass night and draws a slightly younger crowd, but better vibe. Saturday nights are mostly tech house and techno (occasionally prog). There are three rooms, usually with a different genre of EDM playing in each room. On a typical night you can hear 10-15 DJs spin. The place holds about 1,500-2000 people. Place usually closes around 5:30AM for Friday night parties, and around 7:00AM for Saturday night parties. Your first time there it's easy to get lost, it has a labyrinth, underground feel to it. It's the best sound system in London. It was custom-designed by Steve Dash. Even in the smaller rooms the sound quality is very good. The main floor is what's called a "Bodysonic" floor, which basically is a setup that generates low frequency vibrations under the floor so you can feel the music. It's one of my favorite clubs in terms of the talent they bring in, the sound and the venue itself. Don't expect good dancing though.December lineups are already up:http://www.fabriclondon.com/club.diary.phpIf you're into house also check out The End. http://www.endclub.comOr The Cross: http://www.the-cross.co.uk
