andwhysee
i've made 10cds from napster. they are indeed inferior to regular cds, they are lower in volume, they don't track well on my car cd player and many have noises.. are there any way to improve the quality of those burned cds? pintu
First get Adaptec 4.0 version it allows you to clean up alot of noise and do other stuff too. Also try to get good quality cds get the one that looks clear on the bottom stay away from BLUE and GREEN on the bottom(even though they are cheaper) finally, burn at the low speed like 2X it might take longer but the sound is better. sharonregina
keep in mind, what you are downloading from napster are MP3's they are compressed versions of what's on CDs. even if you decompress with software, you are still losing quality. if you are burning from a NEW CD, never been played or played very little, the quality should be pretty identical- it's all DIGITAL info, nothing gets fucked up, unless you fuck with it
lunatik
look for songs with 192 kbps. average songs (regular cds) are 128 kbps.
