One of our DJ's friends " Dr. Jones" from Amsterdam now living in Columbus (going to school for design) is going to coming up to play @ WISH tonight. His set was okay, the only problem was he brought mostly CD and WISH didnt have any CD mixers and it affected his set. This is what we and WISH came up with to make for an interesting twist on things…….For EVERYONE’s Enjoyment$2.00 Cherry Bombs$3.00 Well Drinks$3.00 Domestic Beers$3.00 PBR Tall BoysFor the DJ’sSign-ups are still from 9-10pm and you must be present to sign-up. You can’t sign up someone that’s not there and if you leave, you lose your spot and the next person on will take it. We as well as you will be scoring the other DJ’s with score cards. So make as much time to stay as possible to make this fair. Scoring will be based on:beat matching, mixing style, volume control, energy, crowd control, and self promotion (you’ll get extra points for every person you bring with you) I can’t stress enough how important self promotion is in getting booked for future parties.½ the points that count will come from us and ½ from other score cards. It will be equal and fair. The highest scoring DJ, will be treated to ½ price drinks @ WISH on their next visit (doesn’t have to be a Tuesday) and the (2) highest scoring DJ’s will get guest spots for Reign on Thursdays. Then from those guys again will be scored by us on the same as above (self promotion is a big one! TAKE NOTE!!!) and the best one will guest spot one of our monthly headliner shows on a Saturday @ RAIN and will enjoy ½ drinks that night too and some of your friends will get in FREE too!
