Fred Wilpon, came out swinging...they opened the door to the safe......they have given the New York Metropolitan fans a reason to smile....i'm not even a Met fan and i cant help not smiling.... that is one hell of a team they have put together....i hope they dont go after sammy 'i corked my bat and i'm on a decline' sosa..... they can do better.... just fill 1st base and that team is a legit division contender !!....delgado would make that team a bonafide WS contender...... it all depends on how much the market dictates..... if its a possibilty, i hope Fred Wilpon goes all out and gets him..... that regional tv network doesnt come cheap.... its surreal to think that the mets can all of a sudden become the darlings of the big apple.....once again....WOW !! good luck mets....your # is up....make it happen !!
