First off thanks to the over 1300 people that came out last Friday to Distrikt for the Dj Ritz Slow Jam CD release party. The party continues each and every Friday night. There won't be any pics up for last week because it was so busy that the promoters had their hands full welcoming everyone and doing the promotion thing inside the club. If you would like to be the photo person for Brighterdays Entertainment, DJ Ritz or myself (DJ Shadow) please get back to me as with me DJ'ing alot more now it's hard to do both. In case you haven't heard yet.... I was involved in an accident this past Saturday where a possibly drunk and unaware driver hit me knocking me 15ft while walking across the street at a crosswalk on Queen st. near the club distrikt. Every day I'm doing better and I'm still not sure if I'm going to play this friday. I have no broken bones just many discomforts. First off I have to thank DJ Tyrone (the Boogiemen) from Flow 93.5FM for helping me out...he was one of the first people I saw and he helped to get the ball rolling in regards to an ambulance and police. If you were one of the other people that were there, I thank you as well. So far my case is not going to good as the officer that is in charge of it was injured as well that same night. But that's enought about me...the party must continue...RIGHT??? Was it me or was there a lack of taxi's in the downtown core at the end of the night? Nevertheless, we enter into 2006 on a high as the only people to party with because as you already know, WE MAKE THE PARTY! For those that actually care about me my leg is kinda ok now after getting hit by that car. I can walk, no broken bones, just a lot of unnecessary pain at odd times now. My drugs cure that REAL NICE!
