xhead68
maybe one of you people can answer this..when JP makes a remix of a whitney song, does she get anything from it?and if she does, who pays?it made sound stupid, but i don't give a phuck what you think. I'd just like to get the question answered. If you can, i'd appreciate it.and i don't mean just about whitney and JP also. Plasmis Honey and Tiesto's Mclaughlin remixs....is it all free sampling or is there a royalty check being sent to these people?

And I think she gets no money from the whole deal. But if a lot of people (like me) buy somebody's single just to get jp's remix of it, then the artist gets more money because of more sales, & the record company makes a profit by hiring jp to remix the song. Which means that jp can charge more $$ for the next time a record label pays him to remix a song. I've always thought that was one of the reasons jp pounded us over & over with that janet jackson song a few months back, because he can make so much $$$ by continuing to establish himself as a well known remixer of mainstream artists
