For the first time ever, Paul Van Dyk's first set in America is available to everyone. When Paul Van Dyk first played in America, at Simon's in 1993, noone knew who he was. In fact the question was asked "Who's Paul?". Little did we know, much did we learn that night. Imagine yourself going to see a movie you know nothing about - no big deal right? Well this turned out to be a very, very big deal. Paul instantly became my favorite and "Love Stimulation" became an instant classic. You've all heard it before but: in 1994 the main DJ magazine, MixMag, polled the top 100 international DJ's as to their favorite place to spin. Out of the 100, 54 picked Simon's in Gainesville, FL. Paul's 1st set was at Simon's and these are the mp3's from that night. (There is a 2nd tape not yet available). Sasha's 1st night was also at Simon's and he liked it so much he came back the next week. - My goal is to have Paul spin at the Gemini party. We'll see, eh? All I know is this is the 1st time Paul spun his mix of "Love Stimulation" in the states which is something really cool if you think about it.
