"Ecstasy Onscreen: MDMA Use in Movies" Film Festival/Discussion panel the Westin Long Beach 333 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90802 (Barcelona/Casablanca room) Thursday, November 10th at 9pm only $5 to attend! This is part of the larger International Drug Policy Reform Conference, and you can find details about that at www.drugpolicy.org/conference. I will be showing clips from popular movies (including Go, Human Traffic, Garden State and others) all the way down to independently shot documentaries in clubs and unreleased indie films. A couple of the filmmakers will be there to speak, as well as the head of LA's Dance Safe chapter and a local club promoter. Please come out if you have opinions about how your scene (and its main drug) is portrayed in film, both past and present. And if you like fun.
