I usually try to dismiss the SCARE YOU INTO PAYING ATTENTION programs. Yet, a mild tropical storm landed on NYC in Janurary .. So now if a Catagory 3 hit, were fucked is basically the story ... i guess it would be wise to invest in land that is a few extra feet above sea level ... deeelite1 Posted January 18 Report Share Posted January 18 I'm in Grand Cayman Island today and the downpours this morning were horrendous.we already purchased a tour so went to it and endured a 45 minute boat ride through the most horrendous rain.the good part is the clouds opened up and sun rained down when it came time for us to jump in the water.. and it has been decent out ever since.they are expecting a very bad storm later on today so we have to leave port now :-( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
