9mile Posted March 3 Report Share Posted March 3 Just a heads upRAVER DAY 5 @ 6 FLAGS NEW ENGLAND!!! Saturday August 19 , 2006 Yes kids I am posting about this very far in advance... ... So no excuses like: I couldn't get the time off from work -OR- I didn't have time to save money for it -OR- I didn't have time to book a hotel room This is my 5th yr. putting this together and with the help of friends, RO heads and other party kidz out there we have all had a blast each year. This year it is open to ANY and ALL ravers and any friends they wish to bring. This is a great chance to see party friends and even old friends that don’t even go to parties… get them all together for a day of fun ! I will release the hotel info as well as camping info long before this weekend. I am going to pick the closest/cheapest hotel and camp ground to the park so those wishing to stay over night can do so. This will go on.. ** RAIN OR SHINE ** Although rain sucks, rides still run in the rain and the lines are usually very short if there is any line at all for the rides. This year I am moving it back to 6 Flags in MA (as I had it my first year of putting this together) The rides are better there, (2 new rides added last year and 2 need rides added for 2006!) the water park is awesome there and more party kids seem to be from MA. I am not going to try to keep everyone together at the park because I have come to learn year after year it does not work, so… instead there will just be a meet up at the park…. Saturday at 3pm is the meet up. As you enter the park there will be a Merry-Go-Round on your right and a long building on your left where people have their picture taken for season passes. The meet up will take place along that building outside of it. * TIPS: * 1) Season passes save money. It’s $42 to get into this park once.. or $70 when you buy a season pass and you can get into all the 6 flags parks all summer for that one price! 2) The bar across the street offers $5 parking and is closer to the main entrance then the 6 Flags parking that is (I believe) $10. Check it out! 3) The park opens at 10am.. You want to be in line by 9:30am so you can run to the Super man rollercoaster and get on pretty quick. It is probably the longest line to wait in.. and when you get there really early you wont have to wait for hrs. in the blazing sun later. If you will be buying and/or processing a season pass on this day you will probably want to get in line even earlier. 4) Renting a locker for the day helps not having to go ALL THE WAY back out to the car!
