That said, i do not drive a mustang, i do not go to the tanning salon, i have never touched a drug in my life...How could such be? As far as your personla attacks on my work: I dont mind fari cristisicm, in fact, it is greatly appreciated..However, PLEASE be factual...I was at Limelight for 1.5 years...I never threw a party at Chaos (would they even talk to a guido of my alleged sub-par caliber? lol), and yes, Tunnel was successful for only one night, (the opening) although we did hang on for 4 months in a VERY difficult room..However, we had a very talented DJ in Johnny Vicious, so I would guess space/location had more to do with that failure than music, as you suggest..Thanks for your time...If u have any more "personal attacks" for me, dont hesitate to ask me for the correct information first...I will be more than happy to comply with your requests..Im proud of who I am and What i do..Hence, I dont hide behind an assumed identity on the computer...PS: Whats up with the tunnel name? Is that where all the original club kids go? Or is that where u work? I mean, you have the screenname, and u are quite knowledgable about clubs and music, so, why dont you make a party work there? I am from Brooklyn, I am of Italian (specifically Calabrese) decent, hence, i do have dark skin, not artifically tanned skin...i dont consider my self a "sterotypical guido", however, again, why are u concerned w my appearance? why do u even know who i am? why would u even care? i dont care who u are...C) I put the Tunnel party together, our door did 3900, Kurfew 1100, so factually your numbers are very wrong...Furthermore, if they came for Johnny, or they came bec they like the color of the bathrooms, it is irrelevant..They still came..We still put the promotion together...What worked specifically is in question, but, it did work...If your theory of Kurfew being the primary producer of those 5000 is correct, where did the 5000 go? B]The only reason Kurfew gets so many ppl in there is casue its $15/10 w/college id to get in(instead of $30). Trust me not everyone who uses kurfew is gay, I have used it many times, as soon as i found i could get in for less than half price. Everyone who has gone to tunnel with me, we went trough the kurfew line, and none of us r gay,confused, or curious. (nothing wrong if anyone is, just saying im not or who i went with). I could say over 80% or more on the kurfew line are straight, just wanna get in for less. As u can go on a saturday night to tunnel, kurfew line is mad ass long and there is no line at all at the tunnel entrace, u could just walk in. See it's funny because I was in the SF chat room and your kids were all talking about how they had fun MORE POWER TO THEM but they happen to mention they were mangled. NON THE LESS You wouldn't know about good music if it slapped you upside the head. Basically the music that Mr. Mendez NO OFFENSE play is a POP HOUSE, (MEL C., DARUDE's, and a healthy does of whatever Metropolitan under Ground and Strictly have out for the most part). There is no SOUL IN IT. I have a question for you have you ever heard Frankie Knuckles spin?? or DT?? or Josh Wink?? or Roger Sanchez?? Or are you one of these promoters that are from Brooklyn or SI and have just got into manhattan the past 2 years???? Honestly admit it you don't care what kind of music is in that room. I advised him to come to a party where people actually give a rats ass about the music.If you have a problem with that which I don't see how you could then you are as dense as most of those musically challenged killjoys.
