no no no...my friends and i didnt like it...my cousin loved it...morons leaving the movie where i saw it loved it...i didnt and i still dont think it deserved its credit...and no, i still think the oscars mean something, but i also know theyve made some real boneheaded moves...remember, scorcese hasnt won an oscar yet...you think i would still watch if i didn't think that that's total bullshit??

no no no ... kung fu hustle is all stephen chow...he wrote, directed, and starred in it...wo ping did the choreography as he did in the matrix, kill bill, and the upcoming 'fearless' with jet li... i loved it...totally ridiculous and i loved every minute of it (even the little homage to The Shining)...the cgi was finally good enough to match the absurbist imagery of kung fu films and myths...

saw it last April and I liked it...very very cool looking...the director's name is Nimród Antal...lol, nimrod...anyway, the first half is a great big music video with the obligatory club scene, but then it leads to the relationships and answers of questions from the first half...i found it a wee bit pseudo-intellectual because of obvious symbolism that hardly had any layers to it, but the female lead is extremely cute and the lead actor guy did a very good job... way to go, you nimrod...

yeah, i hear this is one of those movies that is so bad that its good...and by that i mean that there's absolutely nothing redeeming to it but it still so much fun to watch anyway...lesbians, resurrections, blood...solid b-movie entertainment...what more can you ask for??
