weyes Posted July 6 Report Share Posted July 6 i've gone to the OC county fair the last two years, and, even though it's hotter than a mofo, i've had a blast. it's best to go in the beginning, though, 'cause then one can see all of the winning vegetables, flowers, and crap like that before they die. but i love the animals, especially the babies in the maternity barn, and i love all the overpriced food.the fried zucchini is great, there are some awesome onion rings, and i always avoid the deep-fried oreos and twinkies, but it's nice to have the option .last year i saw the demolition derby. i don't know if they have one this year, but i'm gonna go the day they have the pie-eating contest !anyone else going?
