weyes Posted July 26 Report Share Posted July 26 another tip to cool off for those light in the purse: dual window fans such as this:do a shockingly effective job of cooling off a room when it's cooler outside than it is inside. if one's house tends to hold on to the heat of the day, even when night has fallen and it's a lovely 70 degrees (for example) out, these fans can blow in that cool air like nobody's business. they are a viable alternative to air conditioners, as they use substantially less electricity, and are also great for ventilating kitchens, as they also blow air out.tune in tomorrow.
