keough Posted November 11 Report Share Posted November 11 From the reviews I've read it seems to be just as capable as the 2 door. Still not a big fan of the new body style, prefer the 2000 model, but MUCH better then the hatch they came out with after that. Still would like to see a Type R make it over here. Ideally, if I were to own a civic of any kind, It'd be the Type-R hatch from back in the day. Though the new Type-R concept is tight. edge007 Posted November 14 Report Share Posted November 14 Actually the Type-R isnt all that, it has the same engine as the Si right now and the rear suspension is from the old model civics, and at least the new Si has the new rear suspension that said to be more advanced than the last model...as for the Si 4 door i love it, but i wouldnt get it cause im more into rear drives.
