  4. Are you implying this to me?...No I dont have a list there and wont be back in that place...I had so many parties there that I dont even want to mention the outcome...as for the local morons, I guess you cant call em dj's cause of there ego's all over the place, you know me Antifm, I dont have the same ego as the other cats out there who thinks once they spun in a venue there all that...

  7. I love both house and trance dont get me wrong...but house sometimes gets boring as well, its beat are very monotonic and alot of house dj's out there that I heard always plays the same beat or played a track too damn long...well its just my opinion, I just hope that the scene gets back to the way it was, right now too many BS going around...
  8. Whoa whats wrong with trance?...isnt it what makes nyc the best party city cause of the diversity of music...I mean all the venues out there are playing house...it does get boring when all the places play the same music doesnt it?...
  9. Wow proper english please its like reading a 10 yr old lol....your right maybe they should make it 21 and up on sat, but that will not deter any "hip hopper" going there to party...Avalon is trying to fill up that club cause they just reopened, and maybe sooner or later will change that age limit we'll see...

  11. Rank 1 and Markus tore Pacha another ahole that night, it was awesome night full energy through the whole time. Really had fun.
  12. Markus Schulz and Rank 1 @ Pacha Sept. 21st.... Rank 1 received their third golden record for 'Awakening'. From left to right: Piet Bervoets, Dick de Groot (A&R ID&T) and Benno de Goeij. The story started around 1997 when Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij met each other at a party. Piet already was into music and DJ'ing and had his own studio at the time. This sounded very interesting to Benno, who had no experience at all in producing. Benno already had a perfect ear for good melodies, due to his classical musical background by playing the piano and the keyboard. They decided to cooperate and the first releases as Pedro & Benno soon followed. After many successes under different artist name’s, the name Rank 1 was born in 1998, as a joke. They thought it would be nice to see this name at a number 1 position! But the joke became reality when 'Airwave' hit numerous charts at that position. After this they had many successes like their remix of Cygnus X's 'Superstring' , the Sensation theme of 2000. Their next single 'Such Is Life' became next years Sensation anthem, was released in July 2001 and climbed the charts with the speed of light. The album Symsonic, on which Piet and Benno demonstrated their variety, is not just an album for the dancefloor but one to listen to at home as well. Also a DVD with their live performance at Trance Energy 2002 is included along with their video’s. Soon after this release their single ‘Awakening’ hit the European charts. The year 2003 was a busy year for them. Breathing was re-released, it was an updated version of Airwave, with a breakbeat remix. Afterwards they spent 6 months building their new studio’s which can be viewed on the webcam! They also started a side-project for a friend: ‘MAC J’. Nowadays the guys are working on a their second album. Rank 1 has a very tight schedule. In the weekends Piet is travelling around the world for the Rank 1 DJ-sets. Meanwhile Benno is creating new sounds. So when they meet up during the week they have lots inspiration for new records to come! When it comes to interviews, Rank 1 is mostly reluctant to get into details. They rather let their music speak for itself, since they consider themselves as ordinary guys. With a lot of musical talent that is… Advance tickets are $25 Contact me 917-939-6800 Email b5spdrcr21@yahoo.com Must be 18 to party 21 to drink Dress to Dance...

Original productions such as The Drums, Back To Earth, Exploration of Space, The Truth, Raging and the unforgettable Fire Wire, which reached #9 in the UK charts and dominated DJ record boxes, homes and car stereos across the globe for the majority of the synth filled millennium year. In Germany the act have seen unequivocal fame with no less than seven chart top 40 singles to their name along with two artist albums ‘Rhythm & Drums’ and ‘No more Sleep’ rocketing their way into the album charts. Success after success with their own original productions has been accompanied by an impressive repertoire of Cosmic Gate remixes, for artists including Tiesto (Urban Train), Ferry Corsten (Punk), Blank & Jones (DFF), Svenson & Gielen (Answer the Question) and Vanessa Mae (White Bird) to name but a few. Behind the decks, Cosmic Gate can be found week in week out performing at the worlds leading clubs from Velfarre in Tokyo to Glow in Washington and from The Gallery in London to Sydney’s massive Home club. 23. M.I.K.E..... The story begins of an 11-year old boy discovering the potential of samplers and keyboards. A boy who preferred knobs and backlight displays instead of child games. At the age of 18, Mike handed his first demo tape to the Antwerp based record company called USA Import, then shortly there after, his first record "Vision Act" was released on Atom Label in 1992. M.I.K.E's reputation shot through the roof in 1998 with "Universal Nation" although a commercial crossover had never been anticipated this track took the world by storm winning several dance awards, and undoubtedly being recognized as one of the classic dance-records of the trance era to this day. Worldwide dance charts were soon putting the Belgian dance scene firmly on the map, with his PUSH follow-up single "Strange World" destroyed hundreds of clubs across Europe, in the same vein as "Universal Nation". This was followed by yet another blockbuster, "The Legacy", once again topping all dance charts across Europe and entering the British National charts at #21. Over the years M.I.K.E. received several music awards including best club singles and best dance-producer, and entered 6 times the national top 40 in the UK, along with consistently being top 100 in the world, by the renowned British DJ Magazine. $17 advance tickets available through me... contact me at 917-939-6800...Mark.
