weyes Posted November 22 Report Share Posted November 22 if one's roommate does a chore such as the dishes or taking out the garbage, one should try not to respond with an "o, you didn't have to do that." that could lead to the roommate not doing said chore anymore. a simple "thank you" makes the person feel appreciated and, if one feels guilty 'cause s/he didn't do it his/herself, s/he can just do it next time.tune in tomorrow.
