What is the B.E.A.T. tour? It is a national DJ contest and tour spanning 25 different cities. In each city, artists submit their music online. From these submissions, selected artists are chosen to perform at sanctioned events in their respective cities and compete via online voting. The grand prize for the top artist is a showcase performance at Winter Music Conference 2008 in Miami and South by Southwest 2008 in Austin!

DARIN EPSILON [Digitally Imported Radio, ProgressiveHouse.com, AMP]

Darin Epsilon's advanced technical skills, seamless transitions, and unique programming abilities have continually received praise from key industry players and taste-makers. DJ’s from all over the country have recognized his talent. His mixes have been featured on nearly all major internet radio stations, including Digitally Imported (DI.fm), Proton Radio, Frisky Radio, Mercury Sessions, and XTC Radio London. He has also made repeat appearances as a featured artist on Channel 80 'The Move' on XM Satellite Radio.

During a typical set, his music selection ranges everywhere between Progressive House, Tribal, Breaks, Techno, Tech-House and Trance. Presently, he hosts Perspectives on the Progressive Channel of Digitally Imported (www.DI.fm). Tune in every 4th Wednesday of the month to catch the freshest sounds from the world's biggest and brightest new talents. Guests scheduled to make an appearance include Jondi & Spesh, Mashtronic, Can Costa, and Matt Rowan, among others.

He continues to work hard and push himself towards becoming a world-class DJ and producer. 2007 looks to be a big year, with opportunities to travel nationally as well as internationally. By the end of the year, he will have played locations all over the US, being billed alongside talent such as Sasha, Danny Howells, Jondi & Spesh, Jason Jollins, Federico Epis, James Lauer, Blake Jarrell, and LA Avalon residents John Do & Justin Gourley. He is also in the process of wrapping up a number of original productions. Red Circle Music recently signed his remixes of Entropy by Compound Bass and Undertone by Erphun feat. Slighter. With his strong background in music and high ambitions for success, he hopes to someday leave his mark on the world.

BRANDON ANDREWS [Cool House Collective, Cleveland OH]

Brandon Andrews is no stranger to electronic music. At only 23, Brandon has grown roots in Dayton and Cleveland bringing his music to people all over Ohio. Brandon's carefully layered tracks and programming have been known to shatter dancefloors. An aspiring producer, Brandon occassionally plays out using Ableton Live and M-Audio MIDI controllers providing an experience like no other.

DJ FORTUNE [LadyBeats, Milwaukee WI]

Born and raised in England, Fortune got hooked on electronic music during the eruption of rave culture in the late 80s and early 90s. She moved to California in 1993, right as Dr. Dre dropped the Chronic and sought out her hip-hop education. In 1999 she started DJing playing mostly hip-hop. 2 months later she played her first gig and soon had residencies at underground Milwaukee hip-hop establishments Mars Hotel and Quarters. She developed her style to include house, breaks and techno and went on to play almost every venue that Milwaukee had to offer, from Dish to Thai Joes, Three to Fly Bar, as well as playing venues in Chicago and Madison.

Her achievements include winning the Triple Threat DJ Battle in 2003; being the featured Info DJ in 2004; founding LadyBeats, a monthly event promoting the female DJ as normal, not novelty; founding and running For U Events and For U DJ Collective, which currently holds down 3 weekly events and 2 monthly’s in the city of Milwaukee. However, the highlight of her DJ experience will always be visiting Qbert at his home in San Francisco and scratching with him and Flare at the Octagon.
