nikkiekim
Since registering as a member I've signed up for the guest list for Sound Factory and Exit. Both clubs wouldn't honor the list and we had to pay $30. a piece to get in not to mention waiting on line and going through a thorough security search. They went through every crevice of my bag and threw away my gum. What's up with that??????? Exit was no better, but at least we didn't have to wait on line. Anyone else have problems... brandie
if you need lists, just ask . . . luv,brandie------------------"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."brandie@optonline.net
misskittie
One of my friends mentioned the same problem he had at Factory and Limelight. Why say its a guest list so we get screwed?? I know lots of promoters but still, this should be fixed if they arent true lists. My friend even brought a printed copy of the confirmation he was emailed and they still turned him away.------------------~*~* Women beat their men~*~*~The men beat on their drums~*~*
apdiddy
factory will throw everyone's gum away, they dont want their carpet dirty with chewed gum. meanwhile there's enough empty jars laying around at the end of the night to build a stained glass roof for the factory. go figure.------------------deez nuts
deedlez
First of all, were you on a clubnyc guestlist ?? Bc I've had many a problems using the lists though here. Not saying it's clubnyc's fault (this was back when jill and dmitry were working here) but I really dont think a lot of the clubs respect guestlists from here. Second, guestlists DO NOT guarantee(sp) entry to a club and do NOT in any way shape or form mean line priveledge(remember when being on a guestlist meant something?? HA!). Now-a-days any schmuk can have a guestlist and if you do get into the club all it means is reduced admission(IF the list ppl arent crooked fucks that is )a very jaded deedz
pookie128
i had the same kind of problem on friday night at exit....i had to wait(which i figured would happen) but when i was on the guest list line, they never asked what list it was...so i get to the cashier and there was a man ther with her...i was like "I am on the list" and the man was like 30 dollars...and not to be conceited but i am good looking, so i know it wasn't that....but the dumb girl gave me like 20 dollars back so it all evened out hehe!!! But still what was the deal ya know!!<
gregzal
Clubplanet.com/Clubnyc.com guestlists work most of the time. I think the clubs are the problem usually. They change the way they run the guestlists every week. I know Exit changes the way they do guestlists every week. Now they just decided not to have any guestlists on Saturday. clubplanet.com does offer a lot of good guestlists and info. about the night. kitty19
nikki,it's definitely the club, not just clubnyc guestlists . i don't know what your definition of " guestlist " is, but as someone mentioned, it doesn't give you priority or special treatment. you just get $5 off, basically.soundfactory, as far as i can remember, has ALWAYS been throwing out gum. they've always been bitches there about guestlist /comps, so it's not the guestlist you choose to be on.Exit, is just the epitome of a money hungry club. Even the promotional managers there don't get comp lists, which is ridiculous! Then they start increasing the price to $30 after a certain time. I use this list usually for Twilo, never had problems. Twilo is also much better than SF/Exit. in my humble opinion. ------------------*kitty19**turn it around baby*
