back2basics Posted August 18 Author Report Share Posted August 18 Yeh they are booking local tallent, Sandra Collins etcBut i dont know about big name apart from PvD, Taucher, Taul Paul and judge jules thats a very typical Gatecrasher line-up. But Matt Hardwick & Scott Bond ARE big names.I know what going to happen here, people are going to go to this night and aren't going to like it that much. Then come back and say well if thats what the UK is like, it's crap... dont know what the hype is. I may be wrong but i doubt it.I used to love the place, they had a great musical policy about 5 years ago. Then it all changed, they are in the process of changing back now, but they can only do it slowly becuse they own the two biggest clubs in Shefield (They bought the Music Factory a while back) and big changes could effect their profits in a big way. SOrry but any club that books DJ's for 2 hour set, and has each DJ playing the same song (so you here the same song 4 times a night!!), get no musical respect from me. 2 hour sets should be banned.borkinj, when did you go? Was it in the last 4 years? If not you will remember the good Gatecrasher... where they were having to throw people out the door at 6. However, if you like their CDs . . Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, PVD (about 4 months ago) then come you'll have a good time.My only request is they bring Sister Bliss. boa_boy Posted August 19 Report Share Posted August 19 I saw Scott Bond earlier this year with Gatecrasher over here, I think Matt Hardwick was the other dee jay, they played about 6 hours between them.......sensational!
