Diva review (better late than never)

I'm a big fan of un-biased reviews aka Non-promoter reviews. People can take them for what they're worth.

Well here's mine of a place called Diva in Montclair New Jersey. Yes, Montclair New Jersey. I thought it was a bit suspect at first but we've been hearing that it's good so we gave it a whirl on Friday night.

I would have to say it's good. The average age of the crowd was 25. Very good looking. Guys and Girls. (I had a lot of competition). 95% of the crowd was drinking.

Real nice inside. If I had to compare it to a club in NYC (Crowd and Layout) = NV upstairs Thursday Nights. It's small, definitely loungy. The bartenders knew what they were doin' and the DJ was alright. Commercial, but alright. It was packed early; like 10. Closed at 2 sharp.

Bottom line: Great place to go out if you don't feel like "going out" (and if your from N. Jersey).

Thtas right by me...maybe Ill go check that out. But Ill be one of the youngins if the average age is 25.

You should. It's definitely worth checking out at least once. I heard it's good Thursday through Saturday.

Yoooo Blaze...I hear it's 20 beans to get in...is this true?? Not that I'm cheap but to charge 20 beans for a NJ club/lounge is ridiculous!!

Also, a friend of mine went there a couple of weeks ago & was waiting behind this girl on line...well the owner came out & said to this girl, "you're johnny's (the bartender)girlfriend right?"...she said yeah & the owner said, "I'm sorry but no significant others are allowed in the club....sorry I'm gonna have to ask you to step off line!"

Can u believe that shit???

Well, if you guys are looking for a nice little lounge in Montclair...no alcohol, just really good espressos and such......theres this place on Bloomfield Ave called Cafe Ecclectic. On Wednesdays they have these kids from Montclair State come in and do Improv comedy (worth seeing). Other nights they have live bands play. Check it..no addmission fee but also no alcohol. The atmosphere is FABULOUS though. Comfy velvet chairs and couches, just the right lighting and their cakes.....ohhhhh can we say HEAVEN?!?!?
