the following are just some of many reasons that are NOT acceptable reasons to marry someone. because...:

1) you think you can't do any better

2) you think you're getting too old to be single

3) you're afraid of being alone

4) you want to piss off your parents/your partner's parents/anyone

5) you think it'll make things easier

6) it'll help you out financially

7) you or your partner really want/s to have kids

8) you or your partner is pregnant

9) you both really want a pet and can't decide where it should live

10) that way you can live together and feel better about it

11) you really wanna wear a diamond ring

12) you really wanna wear a wedding band

13) you think people will respect you more

14) you always thought it would be neat to change your last name/have someone take your name

15) you're afraid your younger sibling might get married before you

16) you don't want to be the last one in your group of friends/family to be married

i wish some people out there all the luck in the world; they need it.
