weyes
prefacing a question with the phrase "can i ask you a personal question?" is generally done when the asker wishes to bring up something difficult to discuss, and it can put people in an uncomfortable position of feeling rude if they are to say "no" to the general notion of any question, when this type of question is obviously a loaded one. to be fair, one should either just come out and ask the question, or, if one feels like one is necessary, provide some sort of warning in a statement form.tune in tomorrow.
