weyes Posted May 7 Report Share Posted May 7 no one political party owns the flag, nor does flying it mean that one supports the current government. and one does not have to wear flag boxer shorts, march in a parade dressed like uncle sam, or say the pledge of allegiance every morning to be patriotic. at the same time, one should feel free to paint one's face red, white, and blue, and sing the national anthem along with hundreds of other people, if one so desires. it is a mostly free country, after all .tune in tomorrow.
