weyes Posted May 14 Report Share Posted May 14 when inviting people to specific events, it's best to give them a good deal of advance notice, and then to remind them later.weyes is currently on a dj's e-mail list, and this dj usually sends out e-mails announcing her gigs the day before. people usually have plans of their own by then, not to mention that it's harder to find friends with whom to go out on such short notice. and even if one doesn't have set plans, sometimes one needs to plan to save up for an expensive event, has to get an outfit together, or even just needs to be in the mood for it. it's a bummer, too, 'cause i don't want to miss out on these things! she lowers her numbers this way too, i figure. but it's just more considerate to give peeps notice and then to remind them again closer to the date.tune in tomorrow.
