weyes
if one has a favorite dish and expects it to be a certain way, s/he may want to be specific when asking for it in a restaurant, as it won't necessarily be made the same everywhere. case in point: philly roll is my favorite sushi roll, and everywhere i had had it in california and new york it was made w/ salmon, cream cheese (that's the "philly" part), and avocado. when vacationing in miami, however, 2 restaurants made it without the avocado, which makes it seriously lackluster, in my opinion. but i just assumed it was a miami thing.a week ago, i was in san diego and ordered philly roll; it came without avocado in it. i was bummed but felt i was to blame, since i didn't clarify the ingredients with the sushi chef first .tune in tomorrow.
