Beer and Wine Taxes Set to Rise

This proposed list calls for taxes on beer and wine to more than double. Flavored malt beverages would also be hit. This means drinking yourself out of this recession may get a bit more expensive. And in case you like your Jack Daniels with Coke, Patterson has also proposed an 18 percent levy on sugary, non-diet soft drinks. It may be time to switch to diet, tubby.
