spoonyd
I'm not sure I understand the question. If you're asking about any music industry ties, I have none. I'm just really good at record shopping. Though I do have one german record label sending me promos, but that's only cuz I harrassed them lots.Is that what you meant?------------------keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
djaparz
Ok i have a stupid quetsion..What is WHITE LABEL exactly?
spoonyd
thank god, an easy question.White label refers to a record which has no printed label in the center. Just a white label with either no printing, or perhaps hand writing on it.White labels can be one of two things.1. Before a record is released officially by a record label, test pressings and promotional copies are released to some deejays and record stores. When people say they have a white label of a new track, that means they've got it and no one else does because it isn't released yet, only "out on white label".2. Very limited runs and bootleg records are usually white labels becuase no one is going to do artwork and label printing for a record that won't be going into wide distribution. Therefore - having a white label means it's a special record that not many other deejays are going to have, and often times you don't even know the artist or track title. That's part of the fun of deejaying, having that phat track that no one else does.I love my white labels.-did I get that right? Anyone else care to add?------------------keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com

spoonyd
I'm a deejay. Any production I do is just at home, for fun. I need to solidify my take on music before I start making my own. I have all the equipment I need, the rest will come in time.yourself?------------------keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
