weyes Posted June 20 Report Share Posted June 20 with so many people getting laid off these days (including weyes, her mom, and her stepdad, all in the same week), it's essential that one be prepared. one should know his/her rights and fully research all things to which s/he is entitled. this includes but is not limited to:notice one gets before date of terminationthe date when health insurance ceaseswhat kind of severance package there may or may not behow to go about getting unemploymentif one has the good fortune of being a union employee, s/he should definitely be sure to speak to his/her union rep.tune in tomorrow.
