weyes
here's a tip for anyone in any service industry who wants to do a good job and keep it: no matter what weird request the customer makes, if it's reasonable, it should be fulfilled and followed as closely as possible. one never knows when a customer will get angry enough to complain to management over something simple not being adhered to.here's my case in point, today: there's a frozen yogurt place i frequent that puts way too many chips on their fro-yo. i always ask very nicely for only 2 spoons of chips, and when i do, the workers there roll their eyes, giving me a look as though i'm asking for fewer chips either 'cause i want to pay less or 'cause i'm obsessing about calories, then put on 4 or 5 spoons of chips. [i ask for 2 spoons of chips because i like there to be more frozen yogurt in the cup than chips ; more is NOT better. i don't see why it's so hard to understand...] some days they charge me for 3 and sometimes they charge me for 2, but i always pay whatever they ask and never complain, 'cause the difference is only 50 cents or so. but every time i go there i have to take off half the chips they put on, and waste fro yo along with it.at any rate, i don't need those kids to understand why i want so few chips, i just need them to follow my polite request. it's less work for them anyway, but most importantly, it's just their job.end rant .tune in tomorrow.p.s. in case anyone is wondering, i have never complained to management about those incompetent brats at golden spoon.
