Other than the fantastic places downtown (I will never forget my first Space experience), any places on or around Collins Ave (other than Opium Garden) worth checking out? (and yes, I will definitely be at Space as well)

I'll be in town in a week and I haven't been in Miami recently.

Nerve Tuesdays is fun, it's so trashy

For a laid back locals scene (and pretty packed), try Tapas y Tintas on Espanola. I think Thursdays are their live music night, so if you can't find anything else that night, it's good for a laid back warm up into the weekend. And, of course, this website has stuff listed for every night of the week, just check the clubs link. Oh yeah, Thursdays is also Dope Movies at Crobar, which I have not made it to, yet, but really sounds like fun. They show old, schlock movies and usually have free popcorn, or something like that.
