Dick Clark Celebrates the New Year with Nick &

As always, Dick Clark will host his New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special from New York’s Times Square. But this year, Clark will host three separate specials, and newlyweds Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson will co-host one of the shows from their home base in LA. The first part of the evening, Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, will air from 10 to 11 p.m. Clark will report on the party from Times Square and ABC will air highlights from some of 2003’s biggest tours, including Aerosmith and KISS, Bon Jovi and Avril Lavigne. Next up is Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2004, Part 1 from 11:35 p.m. to 1:05 a.m. Nick and Jessica join the show at this point and they will introduce performances by Black Eyed Peas, Bow Wow, [glow=red,2,300]Hall & Oates,[/glow] Jagged Edge, Jason Mraz, Donna Summer and 3 Doors Down. Finally, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2004, Part 2 airs from 1:05 to 2:05 a.m. Nick and Jess will bring back Black Eyed Peas, Hall & Oates, Jagged Edge, Jason Mraz and 3 Doors Down for encore performances, and Simpson will offer her own performance as well. Clark will then wrap up the party in Times Square.
