Help me with my new gym mix...

Recommended Posts

Heres my new cd for the gym, I make them one every month or so, and I"m so sick of hearing tsettos live, so i'm switching it up to some rock!

1. Welcome to the jungle GNR

2. Enter sandman long rare version

3. Danzig - Mother

4. Paradise City GNR

5. Thunder struck ACDC

6. Long way to the top ACDC

7. Kashmir Led Zepplin

8. Free Bird Lynyrd Skynyrd

9. van halen panama

10. Van halen hot for teacher

please suggest some.

I have my aim running at my house, so I have access to thousands of songs to transfer to work to burn before I got to the gym today.

while some are good, I should have said, they play these cds over the system through the whole gym. pearl jam is not a gym band. either is U2. I wanted girls girls girls, but I don't think the chicks will like it.

I'm not too picky. I go with whatever is in my player at the moment.

Your player's library is way too small if you don't even get a choice without configuring it in advance.

Come on Pod, you know you want an iPod.

I'd like one, but the bank account is dictating something else at the moment. 8)

What I'd like to have is that forthcoming one which does audio and video...powerpod or something?

while some are good choices tech, I must say for cardio i'm all about the rocky sound tracks or "big room": venga boys, plasmic honey etc. Also for cardio some opera house kicks ass!

As for my mix you'll see it's geared more towards the classic rock spectrum, so I don't want to include the newer stuff.

I have all of them on my hardrive which I can access from work except the rag doll. I need to get that one, dirty deeds, sweet emotion.

I do have the it's tricky remix though I had their rasing hell cd back in the 1980's. I"m not sure about adding the BBoys, not sure how the gym will like it.

when I work out I listen to hard techno about 135-140bpm with a subtle groove. Technasia works wonders for this stuff.

Oh hey Swirl, I almost mentioned "17". It's Winger though.

The tracks I posted are from an iTunes playlist of picks by a stripper friend of mine who's into doing her thing to 80's big hair classic rock. Works great for the gym too if you're into that kind of thing.
