Guest ah
I was at the Marcus Wyatt show and although I did notice the the casino crowd - it really was not bad. The crowd was mixed, as it is at many venues on the beach, a big difference being it was a mellower crowd (compared to Sobe parties), but that was also due to the music. West coast style house is not common on the beach at all, and honestly, I found it to be refreshing. Its smooth, jazzier, and more eclectic. The people on the dance floor were obviously the majority of the people who came for the music and they danced until it was over. They, as I and the 12 people who I came with, were totally into it. Also, it was cool to see the different dance styles and i thought the fashion element was also hip. To be honest, you really cant compare it to the standard parties found on the beach. It felt much more like a party I've been to in San Francisco or NYC.I was also impressed with the design of Gryphon - the eye design dj booth was WOW.Aquabooty has my full praise and respect for having the progressive drive to bring different vibes, music, and feelings to parties here. Guest pod
Ummm....no. You guys got it all wrong. Both venues are not supposed to imitate beach or Miami venues. They gotta serve their target market first. Miami hardcore club people are secondary in this case.
Guest ah
Of course they're not supposed to imitate the beach, but anyone who ONLY goes out in miami/sobe clubs, will find the differences to mean miami/sobe clubs have better parties when the truth is the elements really are about the same. There is nothing out of the ordinary about the crowd off the beach as it is on the beach. every club can have door assholes, parking issues, layout issues, crowd problems, and creeps in attendance. even the crew I went with was very hesitant to go because of the type of crowd they perceive to exist off the beach. I thought the MAIN difference to the evening compared to most parties I've ever been to here was AQUABOOTY - different music, different crowd, vibes, everything - and also the drug element was not nearly what it is here. And THAT is what impressed me about the evening. It was the 1st i've been to of their's and definately won't be the last.
Guest barstar diana
But for a bottle of Grey Goose it is costing 650.00 wayy too much in my opinion.I'm sure it was for the really big bottle. I saw them bringing out the huge bottles on Thursday, probably 2 litres. Still, 650 is definitely overpriced but some will pay it.What I thought was funny is that Pangaea is the club and Gryphon is the lounge, yet Gryphon is much bigger than Pangaea. Also, Pangaea has very little room to dance.bro that bottle better be 5 stories tall!!!
