Guest Electric Eel
Everyone said GreenDay sold out too - i think thats gheyyyyyyy... they are amazing.I respect Lenny Kravitz mainly because he plays all his own instruments when making an album. He writes the music (all though he has done a few cover songs) and he plays the drums, guitars and whatever else. He doesn't go in the studio and have a song written for him and a band playing.. he does it all on his own. "Are you gonna go my way" was my fave album so far. I totally agree thats what I love about him, his music is very original, and of course the sex appeal just oozes off of him
Guest Davenavarro10
Perfect example Apotheosis. A band like Tool have never sold-out and I'm willing to bet that they never will. It will be a cold day in hell if you ever hear a Tool song being used to sell a product or in a commercial. There is a way to stay true to your art and still make a good living. Look at bands like Jane's Addiction, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and Tool.

"selling out" is a bullshit concept. "and you can point that fucking finger up your ass"
