Us3 is the brainchild of London-based producer Geoff Wilkinson but true to its name, the Us3 musical family morphs and changes with each release, continually expanding its sound. The band first emerged in 1994 with the worldwide hit "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)," a Herbie Hancock sample-based tune that merged vintage jazz with hip-hop long before it became the norm (view the hilarious animated video for the 2004 version here).

questions, the fourth offering from Wilkinson and crew, is a thought-provoking and funky affair that introduces two new vocalists into the fold: The sultry soul sounds of female singer Mpho Skeef and the biting raps of Brooklyn MC Reggie Wyns. After dabbling in sample-delic beats on their first three wildly successful albums, Us3 brought together a group of tight musicians to deliver their grooves live this time. Look out for tunes like "Whatcha Gonna Do?" and "Believe In Yourself" that offer a taste of next generation jazz and soul.
