ok so yeah my initial camera was just that a beginner

lookin for a digital cam around the 200 dollar range.

what is the best?

lookin for one that is around 4 mp. rather have the 4 megapixel camera that is from a good company then a 5 mp from a lesser known one

ill prolly buy it at best buy or brandsmart

unless u have websites that u suggest

btw what is the name of a feature (if its a feature at all.. of whatever takes out that blurry effect when one is moving too much ... or whatever reduces that distortion.. thanks)

image stabilization, and you're not gonna find it at the 200 dollar price point. IS doesn't come into play until the $500 and up range...

Canon A95...

$272 but I would say it is worth it.

pod will reducing the resolution and upping the quality to "fine" make the pics less blurry on my camera

i notice it allws me to take 51 pics instead of 26 when i had it on normal....

if i move it to fine and the larger resolution its like 14 pics only

which will produce beeter pics

fine image quality or resolution ?

Keep your camera at it's top resolution and quality. What you are seeing isn't blurriness necessarily, but compression artifacts.

if i do that ill get like 8 pics

wihci would u pick if u could choose one "image resolotuion" or the normal vs "fine" choice. .. ill have to test it next time i go out see how it looks i guess ........

Too bulky, go for this instead:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0007TJ5OG/qid=1114963183/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-7350219-2939810?v=glance&s=electronics&n=507846

Definitely keep it on the highest setting. Pod was nice enough to print out a single image for me of a 4MP pic i took, and blew it up to 9x12. No artifacts at all. Canon is your choice. ;)

amazon has the canon s410 for 250.00

cant beat it

i just bought to replace my 400 basically same camera

Hey that's what I have as well. :)

If you can get the S410 at that price, get it. I thought it was discontinued, but I guess there is some stock still out there.

Bling, here are some example pics from my cam taken in different environments, including one you took yourself with my cam. Colors come out great with this cam and pics are quite sharp.

ok went to hardrock and tried the new settings ugh still suck.. blurry..... this shit sucks hope to have new camera by end of month

bling, you should prob. just spend a lil' extra dough for a camera that's good quality and will last you a long time...that way you wont have to keep replacing it. i have the canon sd20 (5mp), which im sure you can find for $300. as for the low picture count, just invest in a bigger memory card that way you wont have to worry about how many pics you have left. ;D

Load 'er up with a 512 MB card at least.

I'd also recommend the Canon S70. A good friend of mine has it and she loves it.
