Here are some facts I found...

Many leisure activities rely on equipment being made using chlorine: soccer balls, tents, water-proof clothing, surfboards, tennis rackets, skis and toys.

Chlorine is a powerful disinfectant

Bodyboards are the cheapest and lightest boards available made from Polyethylene Foam..

Does not mention that chlorine is harmful... I think its a go...

I do not see anything saying its harmful to polyerithien surfaces

Didn't think so. Not to mention, surfboards are finished with fiberglass so the chlorine would never touch the foam core.

Id be more concerned with snapping my boards on the pool bottom. Its not as forgiving as sand.

The Typhoon Lagoon wave pool is concrete...thats the first thing they tell you is to not jump off your board head first. :'(

---Another solid point. Wave pools can be extremely dangerous due to the concrete bottom & the limited riding area, overall. Also, they don't usually allow "real" surfboards in the pool. Typically, you have to use the foam boards they provide which suck!! Also, chlorine water is less boyant than salt water. This makes rail-to-rail transitions & flow more difficult.
