A little unimaginative, all they do is pick a new movie each week.maybe I should put the djs face on them with his name in real big letters so that everyone can see his face & read his name! thats an interesting concept! I can't believe it took this for me to realize how to attract someone's attention! all along i thought it was kinda cool to tie in the concept of the party name with an image that actually makes sense...I guess local celebrity was a bad choice! I should of picked "sunrise" or "afterhours" or "housemusic" or something like that! maybe use the sun, or the miami skyline, or turntables, or real cool speakers! :honestly, i think these flyers suck. could be used to advertise a party in the grove.Thanks for your time & thought, I always wanted to do a party in the grove! if I do, you'll be the first on the list! Comp list that is... all nite! Biz think those working hours are taking a toll on you, you already threw parties in the grove. Definately had some fun times the first couple of weeks at that 80's themed party.The local celeb flyers are good and the party could develop into a not to miss party, but for now couple kinks need to be worked out. People are all spread out on the terrace making it look a bit emptier then it really is. There needs to be a bar in the middle of that room by the dancefloor. And an ac system that works well by that area. There are cool spots for when its hot on the terrace but all away from the dancefloor. Also a bit too dark I think when the party starts around 4:30 or so. Light it up a bit. And roland starts off a bit slower Im guessing to make the transition from aquabooty to his regular style a bit smoother, but lots of people coming in wanna hear the roland we know playing the style we've grown used to from him. Basically a celebrated character within the movie. Ex1: zoolander: everyone knew Derek & the actual character was a local celebrity in the movie.Ex.2 Ferris Bueller's day off: everyone knew Ferris & the actual character was a local celebrity in the movie.Ex.3 Something about Mary: everyone knew Mary & everyone wanted to get in her pants & the actual character was a local celebrity in the movie.Ex.4 Swingers: Trent, all the guys wanted to be as smooth as trent & he was the center of attention & the actual character was a local celebrity in the movie.it's characters like derek, ferris, mary, trent as local celebrity role characters in movies. Ferris was popular in his home town of chicago, derek was popular in his home town of NY, Mary was popular in Miami & Trent was popular in LA. They were all "LOCAL CELEBRITIES" (wow, what a concept! )so you see the concept...it's not just pick a funny or cool movie or a cool actor & make a flyer out of it. : alot more thought goes into it. If you get the subliminal message they transmit, then more power to ya. If not, you can make whatever you like of it. My flyers aren't your everyday dj face & name on them. I'm here to catch your eye, make you smile & get you talkin' bout the party. while the flyers may not be for "everyone", they are for anyone! It shows that Biz takes total dedication for these flyers to look great as always which defitnetely impresses the majority of us. To me, honestly,these flyers give me a boost to go to the party in which I been to and always had a fu**ing blast!!!!! Instead of grabbing your brain and design something new, you're just rehashing something somebody else did.It's just a matter of taste. Most people like it, but I don't, what's the problem with that?
