all4tribal1414779019 Posted July 13 Report Share Posted July 13 At approximatelly 2:10 or so this afternoon, about 1 hour and 40 minutes i get a call from my NASA connection saying that the flight was cancelled due to a faulty echo sensor(which tells the control tower that the external fuel tanks aren't filled when the control tower knew it was). We arrived there around 12:30 or so to make sure we could get a decent expectator view and parking, which wasn't so bad at all. Stayed along US1 and 50 in Titusville on the Indian River which is pretty much a bay that divides the city of Titusville and NASA about 10-15 miles west of the base. Took me about a little under 2 hours to get back due to major traffic jam. Looks like it will be a few days till the shuttle launchs again."Reporting to you live and back to you..." all4tribal1414779019 Posted July 13 Author Report Share Posted July 13 yea i was standing in a pretty good spot, it was freaking hot out there...cars parked all over the place, stayed near msn, cnn, channel 2-4-9-13, all parked next to one another so we knew if anything were to happen they would be the first ones to know...when i heard the news i was eating at this cuban restaurant down the street...it's all good, will go out there again...just the traffic was a bitch and a half Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
