I also spoke to DT for a minute until we where almost stampeded by like 10 bouncers breaking up a fight.He was pretty nice to me.I have met him on a couple of other occasions and I have to say that he was more talkative on these.So maybe he was tired or in a bad mood on sat, but he wasn't rude by any means.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't all clubs ask you to remove your cap before entering. I know Mansion, Amika, Crobar, Space, Prive, Mynt, etc. do it. Does that mean "THUG ALERT"? I think it means proper dress code. ???

Sometimes, you got an event featuring somebody special. Somebody that has to perform, and entertain and please an audience! They need to be comfortable in their surrounding enviroment in order to feel right, and play in spectacular fashion!

Now, and Im not sticking up for Danny, BUT, they made him take his cap off, and just maybe he is very uncomfortable, and self conscious about being bald! Many men are! This could be enough to really make him not feel good at all, and adversely affect his performance!

Quite frankly, the club should have escorted Danny into their place, and allowed him whatever makes him comfortable!

Sorry I didn't say hello to you. I had a very uncomfortable experience just getting into the venue. I had just woken up and was into making a night of it downtown. Then within an hour BAMM! Downtown was like KRAZY!!!

I was already uncomfortable from the moment I approached the building as some crack addict was knocking on the window to my car asking me for Cocaine! I thought he wanted to sell me some, but NO, he wanted to know if I had some? The guy was knocking on my window! Then I saw a homeless guy practically shitting on the wall of the club on the side street!

I get to the door and they politely say yes to allowing us to enter BUT I had to take my hat off ... That already tells me that Metropolis was on THUG ALERT!

I politely take my hat off and enter. The place was not busy (5am ish) and I saw an awful fight break out and big security guards were dragging the guys out by the neck! This was RIGHT NEXT TO ME! (yes, I know it can happen anywhere) .... I moved away from the fight and told my friends "Let's get out of here" ...

Then some girl politely came up and asked me if she can have a photo of me, I normally say yes, but I was not comfortable with my cap off, and the whole experience just to get in there was quite unpleasant. I was a bit uneasy, SORRY!!!!

I don't remember you, unless you were the guy that was with her and was disappointed that I said no to the photo.

Officially an asshole and I will never support this guy ever again. I've been supporting this son of a bitch since way back in NY when he used to spin at Vinyl. So i see him at Metropolis this past Saturday, and I'm giving him his props for being such a badass DJ and also being one of my favorites. And he just looks at me like I'm an idiot. And shrugs his shoulders. Show some respect and appreciation to your fans, without us you would be nowhere.

I have seen DT out and about and its really something how people sweat DJ's and how the DJ Whores are so quick to give it up just because so an so is a DJ. People asks for autographs, want to be seen hanging out with Djs like if they were all that.

I really find it funny, to me a DJ is just a regular person who decided to persue a career in spinning records to the public. No need to sweat them like they are some kind of Icons or Movie Stars. [/quote']Screw that, I enjoy a simple handshake with a comment on how much I appreciate their set, work, ect.. I respect their space and don't bug them further. I look at it this way: U2 is in town not only do I have to pay 3X as much to see them but there is now way I will be able to shake their hand or utter a word of praise to them. So I take advantage that I can try to do that with DJ's and why the fuck not we are technically at a party for them when they perform. They aren't gods but they are people who might not mind some human contact! Danny should be allowed to get in with his damn cap if he pleases!
