Or did it never lose power?I just called the BAC and the recording only mentioned the NIN concert being postponed, which i think was the day of the hurricane. Oddly enough, lack of power is the last concern for a major concert because throwing concerts off generators is a very common thing (think about any outdoor concert) and even most indoor concerts run a large portion of their show off generators. Acquiring massive diesel generators for the DM concert should not be a problem. But with that said, I am still mildly concerned about whether the concert is still on. Yea, 'cause an outdoor concert and an indoor concert are two totally different things. Sure, it can be pulled off if the BAC doesn't have power. But being indoors you still need enough lighting in case of emergency for people to see where they're going, etc. Among other things... The recording says that they will reopen on Monday, October 31st and that the official status off all of next week's shows will be posted on their website by close-of-businsess on Monday.But as of right now, the following message is posted on their site:"The Florida Panthers game against the Washington Capitals scheduled for Saturday, October 29th has been postponed. All events programmed for next week are still scheduled to take place. Check back for updates."http://www.bankatlanticcenter.com/script/news.aspSo it's looking good so far.
