Although my laptop could handle the load I don't want to put games on it. I just need to fix the desktop tis quite a machine.... Guest junglesmacks Posted December 8 Report Share Posted December 8 man honestly I have no idea lol it is in on an endless reboot cycle.mind you new MB, CPU and RAMso I think it is a grounding issuerebooting at what point? will it get past POST? if not.. power supply problem.. easy enough to fix.. make sure you have a tough enough one for what you are doing, too..if it gets in and while windows is in the middle of the boot process makes it restart it could either be windows is corrupted or a slim chance that you actually obtained a ROM virus.. to which there is no known cure for as of yet (so ive heard..) other than changing out the mainboard..or.. could just be that you got a crappy MB in the process.. those things are a dime a dozen these days...
