CAN WE GET A STICKY ON THIS THREAD?

It's that time of year once again where we Junkies "once and for all" speak out on our favorite parties of the Year.

With all the hard work and dedication many on this board have gone through in order to entertain us on a weekly basis, this year end award thread is dedicated to you all

What were your favorite parties, venues? etc....

My favorite parties

1)Shipwrecked '05 presented by Lust4house and Housedivision boat cruise during WMC w/ Johnny Fiasco, Mark Grant, etc...

2) Aquabooty 5 Year Anniversary with Lil Louie Vega and Jay J@ Nocturnal

3) Halo @ Blue (Lust4house)

4) Johnny Fiasco @ Blue (Lust4house)

4) DJ Heather @ Blue (Lust4house)

5) Derrick Carter @ Gryphon(Lust4house & Bliss)

6) Cevin Fisher @ Amika

7) Nic Fanciulli & Oscar G @ Space

8. Jask @ Blue (1st time)

9) King Britt @ Nocturnal (Aquabooty)

10 ) Jask @ Nocturnal (aquabooty)

11) Groove Junkies @ OM party during WMC

12) Kaskade & Collette @ OM party during WMC

13) Residents Nite at Blue (halloween strip show lol)

14) Sebastian and Lyrik @ Blue for Sunset Sessions Anniversary

If i have to narrow it down to my top 3 in order i would say:

TOP 3 PARTIES OF YEAR IN ORDER...

1) Shipwrecked Boat cruise '05-the combo of perfect weather, beautiful view, impeccable vibe, and sickkkkk music made it my favorite party overall this yr

2) Aquabooty 5 Year Anniversary feat. Jay J and Lil Louie Vega@Nocturnal (party of the year in an actual club..) --music, vibe.. crowd it was perfect

3) Johnny Fiasco @ Blue (variety at its best.. and off the chain vibe)

Notable Party

-Derrick Carter @ Gryphon (extended set and it was like 545 am when he busted out with classic disco records and was playin his heart out to an empty room at that point.... RESPECTTTTTTT)

VENUES OF YEAR:

1) BLUE-MY FAVORITE HANGOUT ALL YEAR

(best vibe in miami PERIOD)

2) Nocturnal Rooftop: Gorgeous and with the sounds of Aquabooty and Roland cant go wrong

3) Gryphon: Awesome sound system and gorgeous gals all over....

9. Best weekly party: friday nite at delux (local celeb when i can attend)

10. Best party (outside WMC): too many to name

11. Best doorperson: George at Delux (everybody but Rich at noc)

12. Best bartender: Matty at Delux ( Assassin at Space)

13. Best VIP area: umm..Delux

14. Best VIP host/hostess: Erica and Christy at Delux

15. Best promoter: Rolly

16. Best flyers: Nocturnal

17. Best website for a nightclub: shine

18. Most memorable incident involving a CJ board member: when so and so fucked each other.. :P

19. Shocking news item of the year: the announcement of Diegofest followed by Salchichober followed by No Sleep November

20. Best "hope" for 2006: Nocturnal makes it the way that it's supposed to (successful friday and saturday ;)

and yes people...i am a Delux whore... ;D :D

to me the best smaller club (lounge) party I went to this year was when Astral Projection was spinning for their 10th anniversary on Aug. 3rd, 2005 at Blue Cafe in Sunny Isles. It was awesome, they put down some awesome tracks.
