These Canals usually lead them to places where they will be in contact with Humans.And also some people think only because they have a little lake in the back of their Condo Complex, they think their are no gators out there but think again.Wildlife Conservation is estimating 3 to 4 more Alligator in your local Canal now due to South Florida being so dry. I've never really worried about them before. One is about 5 foot, the other is about 6 foot.
