I want the U.S to win and don't be surprized if they do.The Czech is a very good team also but anything can happen. The U.S. have come along way and showed it last World Cup. I say a draw 1-1.

USA all the way. Though this time around is different. In the past the US wasn't a force to be reckoned with, but ever since the last world cup, they're being taken in account.

Also now americans have high expectations for this team, so I think there's a little bit of pressure on their part to live up to them.

Good luck! :)

I agree 100%... I read a funny quote this morning...

"Earlier this week, the London newspaper The Guardian labeled the U.S. men's soccer team an "overdog in embryo." The U.S. captain, Claudio Reyna, says his team is no longer "a surprise package." Its best young player, Landon Donovan, contends the USA can beat any team in the world.......

It used to be much simpler when the U.S. team was lousy. Generally, the plucky Americans would show up, get their cleats handed to them and go home. The rest of the world was comfortable with such an arrangement: the USA as a superpower in everything but the planet's most popular game. No longer is this the case" ~ USA Today

You know, that's true. A lot of people mainly in the past hated the US and always wanted them to lose, cause they're a super power in every other sport, so it was a pleasure to them to see the US get beaten down in soccer.

Big Ben in big trouble!

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was involved in a motorcycle accident in Pittsburgh on Monday morning.

"He was alert and conscious," said Ernie Roman, shift commander for the Allegheny County emergency service.

Witnesses told authorities that the player's motorcycle collided with a car near a downtown intersection and that Roethlisberger's head hit the windshield and was bleeding. Roethlisberger has said in the past that he prefers not to wear a helmet when riding.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that Roethlisberger wasn't wearing a helmet. In previous interviews, Roethlisberger has said that he does not like wearing a helmet while wearing a motorcycle.

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports that early indications are the injuries are not life-threatening.

One of his agents, Ryan Tollner, is in route to Pittsburgh for what was supposed to be a pre-planned trip and will arrive later Monday.

One witness told KDKA television that Roethlisberger was conscious but appeared disoriented before he was taken from the scene to Mercy Hospital.

A Steelers spokesman is at the hospital and confirmed Roethlisberger is being treated there, but wouldn't provide additional details.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

The US played very poorly in the first half. A lot of room for improvement in their performance.

USA is ranked number 5 because they gain points beating Jamaica, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica etc, they wouldn't even make World Cup if they were playing in Europe. They played so bad today. Worst performance so far at World Cup.

I can't believe how the rest of the world copied the baseball world classic that was played this spring. come on! its outright bullshit - a world tournament just like baseballs - every 4 years - but just soccer.
