Guest pod
I'm guessing it is a multi-band phone. CDMA support in Brazil must be pretty spotty.
Guest Electric Eel
Its a razr, just had to call them before I left to activate international calling. It works really well, we've been driving around in the mountains, checking out some granite quarry, and hardly lost signal.

Guest macboy
No UMTS? T-Mobile is finally rolling it out earlier next year...Yeah, I'm not waiting. When it arrives, I'll just buy the next phone that supports it. This one looks like it got good reviews. While I'm not a fan of WM5, I've been using my gf's Axim PDA and I can get used to it. Plus, I can now sync WM5 to a Mac.
Guest pod
The HTC looks like a good deal. I don't trade up often, so I'd kind of want a UMTS-capable phone though.
Guest pod
Eep, it looks like UMTS of the US variety will be a little different than the international variety.http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1004531&page=1&pp=15This thread has the skinny.
