I go out to the kitchen i hear some rustling and a foot long rat starts scampering around the floor and disappears somewhere in the parts of the house. Then I go back into the kitchen a second time hear more rustling and i see another rat poking its head out from behind the stove. Hate those damn dirty things hate them to death.

Uh, if this is for real, you really should call Orkin or something to take care of things.

I'll probably end up getting some sticky traps. Those things always find ways to get into the house.

Do you live by a field? And/or in a townhouse?

That's fucking disgusting. True story. One time I was in the bathroom here at the HQ, and all of the sudden I hear these loud obnoxious noises in the next stall over. I run out of the bathroom to tell everyone else what had happened, but it turns out it was our art director screwing around for comic effect. Funny in the end though. My theory at the time was it was a fat guy who had too much San Loco or something, or got a bad batch of salmon from La Sandwicherie. You know how those French are. They sink Greenpeace boats so they can inject mercury into their fish.

By a canal so rats are kind of a given. Just surprised they find ways to invade the house.

I live on a big fuckin' lake....no rats, no roaches, no palmetto bugs, no ants. Call the Orkin man and don't worry about sleeping with your mouth open.

It is kind of nice being surrounded by nature. I mean we have rats, snakes, and iguanas in trees.Just the other day i had to help a little opossum get out of a recycling bin. Those things are pretty ugly though.

Yeah. My old townhouse on the water had rats towards the end of the time that we lived there. They chewed though the wall in the kitchen. It took me a few weeks to catch them but I caught them both and set them loose in the feild down the street. They were so cute. I almost kept them actually. But I didn't so I feed them a peanut butter sandwich before I let them go.

One rat is down and another 2 to go. Snap traps are good but just gross. Some how the rat escaped it and left a puddle along with a trail of blood on the floor.

my gf is having rat problems at her house too, also on a canal. the traps haven't been working but today one rat had enough and jumped in the pool. it was quite sad. he must of stuck around for a few hours then finally took one last breath. the service is tomorrow.
