I haven't been to the one in the Design District, but I've been to the one at Aventura Mall and Lincoln Road. I think its all the same ownership... Guest NicoleC
I mentioned Sushi Siam in Morningside/Design District awhile back. They are the same ownership, but that doesn't necessarily mean the same quality or chef. I haven't tried the others, but I have been meaning to.If you are ever there and have a desire for more then Sushi, try the Tofu Curry. It is amazing and addictive. There has not been anyone that I have introduced it to that hasn't loved it. I always get rid of the pineapple and have them substitute mushrooms. Add that to their Vegetable Fried Rice. Yummmmmmm!I could eat that every day and not get sick of it. I used to live right nearby and would get it all the time. Now I live so far I wish I could get them to sell me the recipe.Their Red Dragon Roll is pretty damn good as well. Can someone please bring me some Sushi Siam? Oni1414777741
The Sushi Samba here in NY is excellent. Had kobe beef, lobster ceviche, the chicken teriyaki with blue mashed taters, some insane roll and a banana chocolate dessert that was to die for. That and this martini....omg heaven.Dan we really need a drooling smiley. And YES! It IS Shibui. That place was so good and i love the atmosphere. Its very warm and homey. It wasn't anything worth writing home about. It was quite disappointing, to tell you the truth. I'll take Fujiya over Ruson any day.

Guest lulamishka
Has anyone been to Maido in Doral? If so, any reviews?
Guest Fernando A
Sorry but Moon is gross. Bad quality fish, but yea, it's cheap. If you're in that area, the best sushi is at Akashi on US1 just south of Sunset Place. On the beach, excluding restaurants like China Grill and Nobu, I would have to say that Shoji is the best I've had. Doraku on Lincoln is also very good. I've heard Bond St is really good too, but I haven't tried it yet.
